A. No Long-Term Data Storage
We do not store personal data longer than necessary.
All anonymous call and message records are deleted within 24 hours unless otherwise required by law.
Why? To minimize risks of data breaches and unauthorized access.
How? Call logs, messages, and metadata (e.g., call duration) are automatically purged within 24 hours.
B. Payment Data Security
Payment details are securely processed and immediately shredded after transaction completion.
Why? Financial fraud is a major concern in digital services.
How? Payment details (M-Pesa, credit cards) are processed via PCI-DSS compliant gateways (e.g., Flutterwave, Stripe).
No storage of card numbers, CVV, or PINs—only transaction references for accounting.
C. Non-Therapeutic Nature of Service
We do not provide professional therapy; our services are for supportive listening only.
Why? To prevent liability claims from users expecting professional therapy.
How? The disclaimer is prominently displayed before calls/chat sessions.
Any counseling sessions with certified professionals follow strict confidentiality rules.
D. Corporate Data Handling
Institutional data and those of registered members is strictly handled with care and privacy.
Why? Companies have stricter compliance needs (e.g., GDPR if dealing with EU employees).
How? Corporate contracts include Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) to ensure compliance.
E. User Consent & Control
Service end users have the power over their data and posses the right to concent either to use or reject use of service.
Why? Kenya’s Data Protection Act (2019) grants users rights over their data.
How? Users can request data deletion or opt out of analytics.
