By using Vocal Vent, you agree to the following terms:

A. Service Description

• Anonymous Venting: No IDs required; users cautioned that advice is non-professional.

• Counseling Services: Conducted by licensed counselors (credentials verified).

• Corporate Packages: Includes Non Disclosure Agreements for sensitive employee issues.

B. Disclaimer of Liability

• Explicit Waiver:
  “Vocal Vent is not liable for decisions made based on venting sessions.”

C. Prohibited Uses

• Zero Tolerance for:

  • Suicide threats (reported to authorities).

  • Hate speech (violates Kenya’s Cybercrimes Act).

• Enforcement: Bans + IP blocking for repeat offenders.

D. Intellectual Property

• Trademarks: “Vocal Vent” name/logo cannot be misused.

• User-Generated Content: Callers retain rights but grant limited license for internal training.

E. Limitation of Liability

• Exclusions:

  • Force Majeure (e.g., outages due to Safaricom, Airtel, WhatsApp, Instagram downtime).

  • User Misconduct (e.g., sharing harmful advice with others).

F. Governing Law & Disputes

• Jurisdiction: Nairobi courts.
  These terms are governed by Kenyan law.

• Mediation First: 60-day cooling-off period before litigation.
  Disputes shall first undergo mediation; unresolved matters will proceed to Nairobi courts.

G. Amendments

• Acceptance Mechanism: Continued use = consent (logged in audit trails).

We may update these terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
